Great article Jisel. Birding tourism is one of the best ways for Panama to protect its natural resources. New birding destinations are opening all throughout the country and attracting birders from all over the world.
The birding is so good close to the city, quite often other important birding areas in Panama are overlooked. Western Panama's bird tourism is growing by leaps and bounds. Check out our website for a new birding destination on the Western Caribbean Slope, one of the most important areas in the world for restricted range avifauna.
