I have witnessed several non-Brazilians crying for buying real estate on behalf of the Brazilian girlfriend, because she told him that non-Brazilians can't buy property in Brazil without having permanent residence.

I can confirm to you that a non-Brazilians can buy real estates in Brazil without having permanent residence. You just need Cash and to get a CPF (Brazilian Tax pay document).

I guess first thing foremost is to understand the Brazil property market. Every international location has rules and regulations regarding the purchase of land or property by foreigners and it is important to be aware of what is expected while doing your investment research.

I've been involved in taxations for lengthier then I care to admit, both on the personal side (all my working life history!!) and from a legal stand since passing the bar and following up on tax law. I've offered a lot of advice and redressed a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you've put up makes perfect sense. Please continue the good work - the more people know the better they'll be outfitted to deal with the tax man, and that's what it's all about.
